Archaeolemur is also an extinct genus of lemurs that has two species namely Archaeolemur edwardsi and A. They are mostly seen in the areas of Madagascar through much of the Holocene epoch. It loves to spend much of its time on the ground and physique weight is around 15 and 35 kg. The species disappeared from Madagascar round 1047–1280 CE.
